Merge Posts If...

If one user post 2-3-4 ... etc consecutive , posts will merge into one and appear as last edited on ...
Results:
Less Spamm
Less "Daily Bump" from users that use this 1000 times/day to bring their threads 1st.
Less Unusefull posts
U can view post's better

But what is the point of this thread? I'm positive that moderators do their best to merge any double+ posting.

Simply report any threads with long strings of replies from a single user to a moderator (or via the report button, maybe.)

I Agree, Its a better way to get around spams, However i think that it merges if you post it the same day, but after 24 hours it should create a new post,

All you need to do is to delete the previous post before you bump again. If you did not know you could do that, then now you know.

There's actually a mod for VB that if X times has not passed yet, the new posted will be merged.

Anyways, no support. You are allowed to bump every 24 hours, if you see someone breaking that rule, just report.

 

Not really a need for this since you can just report spam and a moderator will fix the problem.

Its alright idea I guess but honestly not many people at least on the forum I am normally on doesn't do that. Sometimes a new member bumps a couple times a day but after the first infraction they learn. I honestly don't think this is needed.

I doubt our version of VB can handle this. If it can, it would be nice to see an automatic post merge for consecutive posts without another post separating the two.

If you see people making double/triple/quad+ posts, just report them. We'll take care of it.
