Min Def level for Cows?

What would be the minimum defense level to not have to bring food when training on cows?

cows will definitely hit you through 1 def.

I would recommend 5-10. But if your strength is high enough to 1 hit them, then you would be fine with 1def. Honestly I would wait until you have Soulsplit/turmoil before you risk it in the cow pen.

Cows won't hit through iron.

 

5 with steel.

Maximum 10 with black.

 

whenever i make my pures they do. 1 def with full iron and they do.
