I got muted on Runescape for no reason?

Yeah so i was buying some stuff at the GE and when i went to ask some kid if i could borrow his phat.
He acted like he couldn't hear me.

So i kept bugging him but after awhile i thought maybe lag was messing with my chat so i logged out and back in to find myself MUTED FOR 2 DAYS.
After checking my offenses i have no clue why i was muted but here is a pic.

Anybody know how this can be undone?

 

thats quite weird i heard that jagex sometimes mute or ban people by accident

Generally when you are muted for 2 days, it's by a player moderator. Try contact Jagex about it.

Yea, it's most likely a PMod that muted you.

Send a message to Jagex appealing it if you truly did nothing wrong.

 

There's nothing you can do if a mod mutes you. I was muted for 48 hours as well before.

 

Something similar happened to me. I saw my
Friend at the ge and was spamming an "eww" befor his name. Messing with him. Turned out his friend was on the acc and he had reported me. Muted. Lollol. Gf?

 

I think the guy you were bugging was a mod, and he prob muted?

I got muted for calling a mod a fucking bellend.. I got muted for liek 3 hours

 

this has happened to me twice. it will be removed if you appeal it

Jagex ban system is fucked up. I got perm banned for saying a site lol. I thought that was a mute to

It is a player mod mute for sure, if you ever have a problem with the rules I will be more than happy to get it appealed if you show me the evidence. I have gotten over 75% of my blackmarks appealed just by quoting runescape's rules and showing how I didn't break the rules.
