Boting for Money?

I've been playing Runescape on and off since '04, and quite frankly I am completely burned out. I miss the old RS, I feel that it's just too bloated now, everyone is rich, it's just too easy.

My question to you is if it's viable to bot say woodcutting or something for money, as in selling the Runescape GP earned for real life money. I am not looking to make a million bucks, just enough to buy a video game or two. Has anyone else done this? Would just like to hear what you guys have to say on this subject.

 

Many people on Sythe do this, it is very possible.

This is called 'gold farming'.

Some members have made over $10,000 doing this.

Well, where do I start? I don't really know how to go about this. All I am doing at the moment is cutting yews, and the money is not all that great. I average about 300k after 6 hours.

WC is good to start, but some bots give 100K/hr+

I suggest you study your skills and choose the best out there for you.

 

I botted chaos druids in the edgeville resource dungeon, and I was getting over 170k an hour. Amazing combat stats not needed because of irit and ranarr spawns that boost your gp/hr

just choose one skill and bot it...and you've been playing since 04? Your skills aren't too great :/

After you've chosen the skill and gotten to a good level, get members. You will make a lot more gp/hr even with the loss of money from paying for membership.

If you only plan on botting on 1 account, I recommend LRC.

Powermine till 77 mining then get members. Go to LRC and mine concentrated coal (and make sure you're in world 84 or 77)

Once you get to 80 mine both concentrated coal and gold.

Bot and bot and once you get to high levels, if you bot 24 hours a day you should be able to make 4m+ a day.

 

yeh you could bot the wc and get alot of rsgp, then sell for real cash.

 

You need to invest some money to get your gold farming business set up.

The most popular way of farming gold is by botting sorc garden, however you need to be members, and get the bot itself.

Botting in f2p is not worth it at all. The amount of gold you get per hour is awful.

Well I gave away my old account to a friend, I've only had this one for about a 3 months.

 

Hmm... you could bot at red chins if youre a member, or wine of zamorak, or white berries, etc.

 

I'd definitely have to recommend chaos druids.
Just get 10 dungeoneering and bot away, sir.

 

Purchase Perfecticus Fighter and bot druids you can make 3m/day with 1 account

 

I run 2x RC bots and 1x Sorc garden bot, I make around 700k/hour

 

I run 3x RC bots, and one at a secret location that I choose not to reveal!
bwahahahahhaha!

But yea, get members, and you can make money ANYWHERE!
some examples:
Hunting chins/red chins
Cleaning herbs
Making Unf pots
Cutting ANY tree
Fishing ANYTHING
Master farmer
Sorceress garden
Cooking certain things, like summer pies.
Pest control (herbs)

Some monsters with decent drops:
Ankou
Chaos druids
dagganoths
avansies
(these are the only ones i can tihnk of off the top of my head)

Making a lot of accounts at sorc garden makes the least amount of money but is the easiest to leave unattended for awhile.

Thats a shame you got scammed, not only has it changed, but most people are after money more than friendship.
Anyway, I have no idea for any good F2p bots, sorry.
