How to make gif avatar work here at sythe?

So yeah, when I put animated avatar (gif) it doesn't move, but I saw a few at some people who has animated ones, soo, wheres the secret?

Err, I'm wondering the same thing here lol.. except whenever I try it, it always says invalid image for me.

 

When I set mine, I had access to the modcp.

Yea, I realllyyyyyy want to figure out how to do this :/ . No luck here either, but I have seen people with animated avatars who are not mods/ex-mods, so I do think we should be able to do it.

 

I believe .gif avatar's need to be added by a mod. PM any Global+ and they'll do it for you.

 

Might need to be a donater, not sure.

Only mods can upload them for you.

 

idk if its changed and that a mod has to add it for you but, if the image is too big and needs to be resized from the normal avatar size then it won't work (unless a mod uploads apparently)

you can use smaller gifs that fit into the avatar box just fine i think


Edit: yes I'm right (take note of my avatar, just uploaded without a mod's help)
just make sure the avatar is small enough
