Scammed for over 485 dollars what can i do

The user has been banned but I filed a dispute as soon as this happened got it denied. Originally scammed for 335 dollars for the account, and 150 dollars in gold I put on the account. I know there's no way i can get the account back as he gave me false details other than correct password at the time.

I have no clue what i can do but i was extremely ticked off the other day as I found youtube videos he has posted of his bank wealth etc bragging and what not and I'm just hoping I can somehow get his rs account banned. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3IFHefhqmU That's a link to the bank video quite a bit of that gear I bought myself to boss on the account, and the materials needed for 93-99 herblore.

http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=995399 That's the original thread and the account I bought from him.

To the point I was wanting to know if there's anyway I can email jagex all this information and get his account locked. Here's all the info I have. The thread, pm's from this site, aim logs, an email from him with all the information and I do know this is the email he uses on a regular basis by using internet searches etc, and that he does in fact tie this to the rs account in question. Paypal receipt for payment to jagex for the account for a month of membership, and the original receipt i used to pay him the 335 dollars for the account.

More than likely this thread will be locked and they'll say he was banned on here, well that's really no consolation to me. I lost 485 dollars because at the time this guy was incredibly trusted. I filed a dispute with paypal and lost because it was a gift. Which I actually did phone them and file a dispute but lost due to virtual goods. I have more than enough information to prove this account was sold to me, and recalled and I really just want some help so I can get some justice. i saved up for months to buy a nice runescape account to boss with my friends, and getting 485 dollars extra while making minimum wage isn't exactly really easy.

If someone can suggest anything I'd really appreciate it in the long run I'd even be happy getting his account banned in runescape because what he did was incredibly wrong. As far as I'm concerned that's just as bad as robbing me in person and all he got was a slap in the wrist, mind you he scammed 100's of people for 25 dollars as well at the time.

    Sorry for the long read.

    Thanks,
    Benjamin

If you knew his e-mail, have you tried researching him? It's honestly disgraceful that people are scamming (even if they are trusted or not) I understand you cannot get your money back, and that is a lot of money to lose. I know how you feel - I've lost 2x that already, and I'm willing to stay strong. I hope you've learned a lesson to never trust any accounts here, because they're always recoverable.

Honestly, you should have got some more information on the guy - and made sure it was legit. Therefore, you could *track* (I use that word strongly) him down and find his age, and other relevant information.

If you need any help, feel free to add my MSN; I'm always willing to try and help out fellow members that have been scammed.

I know his age, real name, and what city he lives in. But i've tried recovering using the information I obtained with no luck.

    evan, did u even read?

and sadly, it is really hard for you to take action. i think emailing jagex might get his acc banned but the chances of you retrieving the money or account is very low, unless you get authorities/his parents involved, which is unlikely

I know I'll never get the money back you know how I'd be able to go about emailing jagex to get his account banned.

That shouldve been a sign.. I know it was right before free trade but I think at that time it was still only a dollar per mil. Jagex wont and cant use anything from this site or youtube per the site rules so showing them that info is useless. Just find him on peoplefinders go to his house and beat him down.... Thats what Id do.
