Rollback/tempban

I have a couple questions.

1. Is it true Jagex only does one, a temp ban or a rollback? I was temp-banned for 14 days, and it's halfway done.
2. Do rollbacks occur when a player's banned, or after the ban ends? Because I have 7 days left and my stats haven't been rolled back. I checked on the hiscores.

Sorry if these are dumb questions. I'm a little paranoid.

Edit: And I'm back. Haha, they took my Saradomin Sword and any stackable over 1000 (so all my fire runes and water runes are gone, all 30k worth of them). I still have the 4 mil worth of blue dragon scales though, and my membership froze during the ban so I didn't have to renew. Oh Jagex u so silly.

All of my stats were rolled back by 7, which isn't that bad compared to what you guys posted. My defence is now a solid 70. Woo. Prayer, magic, and summoning were hurt the most. I have Korasi's, if I ever want to look legit, I have to get my stats from TVSB up, which is a good 6-8mil. Overall, it could have been worse. I guess I got lucky.

Yes they usually do rollbacks after temp bans. Note: Your highscore stats only update after you log out of the game; so if they roll them back, the highscores won't update until you log out (but to do that you have to log in first).

 

Prepare for the worst so you don't get disappointed (even more)

To be honest it seems like a lottery. Some people get rolledback, some lose some money, some get temporarily banned, and others go in negative credit and need to pay to play again.

If you're going to bot, used good free ones or paid bots, along with limiting yourself to 8 hours or less a day and you shouldn't need to worry about anything like this.

One more question. Is there any pattern to stat rollbacks? I've seen people only get a few stats reduced by 8, and others where all their non-combat stats were reset to 10. Does Jagex actually check your botting history, or is it random? It's bugging me.

 

No, there aren't patterns in stat rollbacks, your skill may lose half its exp, or only a tenth. Jagex will roll back the stats they think you were botting in, and a couple extra

They roll back the stats they KNOW you botted the hardest, with other random skill roll-backs thrown in there to teach you a lesson.

Well I can confirm-

4 Temp ban macro offences were ALL rolled back.

 

They dont only ban the stats they think you botted... they rolledback all my stats at least a little bit and utterly raped my bank

I've been temp banned 2 times, rolled back once, and permed once. It's all completely random.

 

I asked for a roll back and they havent given me it - i did one day of soul wars and get screwed over for it - how do i get a roll back?

 

They can do all 3 of a temp ban, stat roll back and item/gp rollback at the same time. I've had my sorc garden bot account temp banned and when I logged in after the ban was up I had 60 thieving (previously 65) and they reduced my avantoe and lady herb stacks to 1.

Some accounts have benefit greatly from the rollbacks, but jagex might change that. Accounts with under 20 defense have handcannons, under 40 defence having legends cape all kinds of ridiculous things.
