I wouldnt really consider the people on top of the highscores famous because of how easy runescape is today and how gaining levels isnt a problem but back then it was way harder, getting 99 agility while not having all these new high level courses or stringing a bow when you couldnt just type in 28 and it would string them all, you had to do them yourself.. the game has changed ALOT.
