How to get lots people on my forum

Hey guys i was wondering if any of you have any tips to get lots people on my rs forum if you have any tips for me please post them

You need to offer something useful, in demand, and original. There's really no other way.

 

Simply be supplying the customer with something they want; you gotta sell the product, so make your post looks Crisp. Add effects to your words, give it the right title. Etc. GL

 

Advertisement is probably your best bet.

 

Make sure you don't just use one of those basic free Zetaboards or invisionfree boards. Get a proper domain name and proper forum software. Post information that everyone wants and make sure that you don't make it too hard for people to register because generally people just get annoyed and leave.

 

I am with happyface. You should offer sth useful or funny to people

 

Promise to make everyone a moderator lol

 

Advertisement is key and it will be a slow process to build up your forum. You will just have to accept that people won't just start flooding your forum all at once and that the population will only gradually increase.

If the forum isn't that active, make sure that you take the time to reply to people's post or they may notice this fact. If you can keep people interested in your forum and it actually has something to offer, then as more people join it will flourish on its own.

Advertise and offer free stuff every once in a while, have an active comunity, thats all!

 

You have to do something no one else can offer, or better then anyone else offers. There's plenty of RS forums. Unless you can make a better forum (which I doubt) you're not going to have any luck.

 

Like Happy stated, have a proper domain and not a free one.

Make it unique, don't say you'll do something then never do it. (For example saying you'll add "insert here")
