How long to bot?

How many hours a day do you consider "smart" botting?

 

10-14 but if you want to be really safe I would say 6-7

OT: Smart botting, act like a human. No more than 16 hours a day (though some people can bot 24/7 without bans). Make sure you take your breaks manually too.
Depends how much you care about the account also, atm I'm suiciding an account from the ground up until it gets decent stats

I bot 24/7 on throwaways but my main runs about 18 when I do anything but dungeoneering.

24/7 in dung since nobody else can see me I don't worry about it

 

I usually do it at 16 hours a day.

 

I managed to do SoulWars, Agility, Thieving, Hunter all at 12 hours a day and I am still not banned it depends on the bot I guess, but 12 hours is about the most a human could do of Soul Wars a day before wanting to go stick a sharp knife through their neck.

I'd say 4-20 depending on the quality of the antiban and such. But bots like hunter, alch and sudoku, 4-6 hours only, since they have the highest ban rate

 

i don't see the point of "safe" botting, no botting is safe, just go for the gold and suicide 20 hrs a day for a month than stop botting for 3 to 5 days. also u will not get banned in places people can't see you, jagex's bot detection system is player reports...

 

depends on place u bot

high ban rates= 1-5 hours a day, thats dumb botting

i bot low ban rate spots 24/7 never get banned, thats smart botting

 

Rather go for 6 hours straight instead of taking breaks every two or three hours.

Theres no such thing a smart botting, the longer you bot the more chance you have of being reported.

If you want to try and mimic your normal playing time, then smart botting would be that. If you play 8hrs a day, then 8hrs a day. If you play 1hr a day, then 1hr a day.

 

I bot 7 hrs break 1 hrs.

 

Probably 10-12 hours per day would be smart
