Decriminalization Of Drugs

Marijuana is the only drug I think should be decriminalized. It's is indisputably less harmful than alcohol. Alcohol kills so many people, either from drinking and driving, drunk people killing other people out of rage or some other emotion. How often do you hear about someone who was high killed someone for no reason? Probably close to never. Plus legalizing it means more income to the government from tax, maybe help get us out of this recession in the U.S.

 

They cant controll it therefore they cant tax it so they wont legalize it anyone can get seeds and plant marijuana therefore you cannot tax it or controll it.

People can plant seeds, it's illegal in most states in America.
Even if it was legalized, they can still tax it.

Governments tax agriculture, do you think the milk that comes from cows is nontaxable? What about the wheat in cereal? What a farmer grow for individual use is not taxable, what you sell however is.

 

Hemp is also stronger then an softer then cotton, and can be used in bio-fuels, textiles, clothing and almost anything in the world, not only can they not tax it, hemp alone would put alot of rich people out of business

You wouldn't believe it but im quite sure alot of America's government documents from pre-1900s is written on hemp and the paper hasnt even yellowed yet.

Not one person in the world is reported to be killed from marijuana use alone, where as in America alone there are near 10,000 reported deaths per year from basic house hold drugs like asprin and caffeine , not to mention the 400,000 that die from smoking tobacco every year.

They also say THC kills brain cells, but the last test that was done was when they pretty much put a gas mask on several monkeys and pumped over 80 Jays into them within 20 minutes , without even adding extra oxygen thus suffocating monkeys to prove a point which is based upon a lie.

Its illegal but still racks in 6 - 8 billion a year in Canada an US alone per year.

 

Simple As this marijuana would make alot of corporations poor.

Weed can be a lot of things though... depending on what type it is could result in different effects, a few causing a 'stoned effect' = indica I believe.. and Sativa which makes you 'overly confident and happy'

Compare weed to beer, honestly, give me a true back up of why each should be legal. What does beer do other than cause adults to become irresponsible and clumsy or whatever. Don't really feel like typing up much cause I'm thirsty, but weed should really not be considered illegal, I guarantee you it with be legal in quite a few places in several years anyways. Why wait?
