Join Date / Post Counts

That's why I hardly ever use PayPal to receive money, there is a whole other side of stress and paranoia in wondering if the buyer charged back or not.

 

I remember that loads of trades used to take into account post counts and join dates when I first joined, but now its vouches.

 

tbh, its all about the vouches and the quality. Everyone who says posts well... im not sure.

 

I sell gold so I look for buyers who have previous vouches for purchasing gold, vouches for services/pins don't do much for me.

Next I check join date in conjunction with vouches - Members who have been here for years with 100's of vouches are a safe bet.

I do think post count can be a good indicator aswell - It seems scammers are less likely to interact with the community, if you view posts in their profile you sometimes see them posting constantly in Buy/Sell threads but won't have any vouches.

You can get a sense of character by viewing their post history, I avoid people who come across as aggressive/pushy.

 

My join date and posts don't correlate.

Just kills me to see scammers / people who chargebacks. I don't understand why seriously.

 

post counts : they dont say much but yet i would rather trust some1 with 1k posts than 4 posts.

join date : personally i think this gives a little more trustworthyness.

vouches : i'd rather trust some1 with 50 posts and 20 vouches rather than some1 with 250 posts and 0 vouches

 

Same as Saesi said, however I would never consider someone from 2011 trustworthy atm.. The account was just made and most of them spam for 300-1k posts in under a month, then get about 50 vouches of 1m trades.
