I think he must have had an oxygen tank installed to his lungs. His face was blue the whole fight and he wasn't out. And its nothing wrong with Millers submissions either! In other fights i've seen him RNC other guys in a few seconds once he gets those. This dude got rnc'd and triangled like so many times he just wont go out.

My face was like -"HOW THE FUCK?" when he got out of the first RNC, i did NOT expect him to get out of another 6 attempts after.

 

Lol that was crazy. Joe Warren fights tomorrow, and tuf Wednesday. At least bellator has been entertaining so far.

 

Bellator imo has more crazy shit than the UFC, those guys are more wild and less disciplined. And theres more to lose fighting in the UFC than in Bellator, especially the paycheck.

 

I miss the good ol' Pride days esp. soccer kicks. I really want those beautiful soccer kicks back.

 

In the ring its safer than the Cage, if you soccer kick someone and his head is pressed against the cage=death. Broken necks. The ring only has air.

I'd say soccer kicks are a go in the ring (except the groin, back of head obv.), stomps anywhere but the back of head/face/groin would make it a hell lot safer.

i dont think soccer kicking in the middle of the cage is that dangerous, but the problem is that in a fight, sometimes its hard keeping the rules. theres tons of illegal knees and etc out there. Soccer kicks could mean death and the UFC will not risk it.
Wrestlers have too much advantage, back then a successful stuff is so dangerous people go for takedowns less. *stuff, proceed to knee the fuck out of the wrestler*

 

I do realize they're dangerous and wondered when I first started watching the UFC why they don't just knee the person's face in when stuffing a take-down.

I guess it's me expressing wishful thinking; soccer kicks and by extension stomps are very dangerous and I don't wish it on any fighter. They're highly entertaining but could be the end of the athlete's career even life if it lands in the wrong spot which is quite possible.

 

It's not even that they have huge advantages. People need to be able to stop takedowns, and that's there fault if they can't. Look at Rampage, he has done so good b/c of his takedown defense and power.

I am fine with soccer kicks, but they are very dangerous. Stomps are something that should NEVER be legal. Those our so dangerous and horrible. There's a fine line between entertainment and safety.

 

Rashad took rampage down many times and that costed him the fight. If Rampage could have kneed and dont all that shit, it would be different.

Exactly, im rpetty sure it coulda changed a shitload of fights. Especially the Shields Vs Kampmann fight, if Kampmann had been able to knee Shields woulda been done for. Show you how much the rule changes the sport.

Question to Americans. I'm in Australia and only recently (last 2 months) have we started to get a heavy flow on UFC/MMA. Atm we only get it on one channel mostly (FuelTV). We started off getting random stuff like Ultimate Knockouts and FightNights, then started getting all the ultimate fighters (1-13, up to 6 atm)

So how much MMA/UFC do you guys in America get access to on a weekly basis?

 

Well on any given day I can usually find some form of MMA on TV, whether it be UFC/WEC/Strikeforce/whatever. I know WEC and strikeforce were both bought out, but I still see WEC reruns on TV all the time.

MMA is becoming huge over here, and I start classes next week for BJJ/GJJ.

 

We get it almost everyday on SpikeTV. The main events however are a pain and one of the biggest in hsitory, UFC 129 is coming up very soon.
