Being banned for being part of other communities?

I want to know why people are being banned for being part of other communities?

I take part in numerous communities that would be questionable to other members and staff, but I was apart of them even before I knew about Sythe.

    Please discuss.

You should be banned if you are involved in bad things on another site. You can't phished and scam on another site then come here and be a different person.

People aren't banned for being on other communities unless they've done something that breaks a sythe.org rule (phishing and stuff). When I was hacked I went to hackforum and they helped me search for the virus, tell me some good anti virus and such. Do you see me banned? So people are really only banned if they break sythe.org rules.

Yes, you actually can and there is no logical reason to ban for it. I've argued it so many times I'm not going to bother anymore but banning people for things that do not require accounts is illogical.

I also see people reporting other people for being apart of a certain community and having no proof whatsoever being banned, other than matching MSNs.

You're probably referring to Mrduckysr report. If you click his hackforum link they take you where that fellow was doing something to break a sythe.org rule.

If you're talking about somebody else's report - please link me.

    Agreed.

Should not be banned for being apart of another Forum.

It's not against the rules to be apart of other communities, but if you're breaking rules you get banned. (offsite activities are bannable here.) Same with advertising other websites, but why? Do you have something to confess or are you just curious?

What are you even agreeing to? Read the thread first. This IS NOT a suggestion.

And why? If it were a suggestion; state why you think they shouldn't be banned. So you want previous scammers to gain a nice rep. here and scam over 10k worth?

This. I wouldn't want to deal with someone who appears legitimate on Sythe, but has scammed other on other websites and is on hacking forums learning about malicious software.

I'm just curious, but it makes me irritated that people can get banned for something they did on another site.

Let's throw out hack forums or something similar as an example.

You're obviously going to be joining that site for malicious intentions. Why WOULDN'T you be banned for that?

You're telling me I should be banned for being on hackforums? While I do not use it they have plenty of thriving sections that are in no way malicious.

So if someone said that they have RATed or keylogged people before on Hackforums, you wouldn't view them as a danger to users on Sythe? If I was an admin or mod, I'd do all that I could to keep the members of Sythe safe; that includes banning people that are a potential threat.

If you participate in malicious activity yes. Even being on a site like that is pushing it because you have all of the information available to make a keylogger, RAT or phish available without posting there or making it seem like you are interested in those types of things.

No, because as long as they're not infecting Sythe users. I don't believe in the banning of people for being "potential threats."

So if someone built up a reputation on another site, and then went and phished some couple billion thousand GP, got banned and decided to sell it here and proceed to do the same thing here you would think it wouldn't be wrong to ban them if we had evidence that it was the same person as he was selling his RSGP?

Being on a site with malcious activity and being apart of it are two different things. You have access to these things without joining the site.. People act like it's so difficult to learn. HF has a great xbox forum. What if I join for it? I guess that shows my affinity for RATs and so forth and I guess I should be banned for it.
