untrimmed cape glitch

It doesn't work

How it used to work:
You have ONE 99.
you get like 20 xp to the next 99.
You get a untrimmed cape on.
You die with it (so your grave appears)
Have someone bless
go get the other 99
Buy the cape.
Go loot the untrimmed capes

This is what it did:
(I dropped the trimmed cape)
It trims as soon as you put in invy lol

 

I never got my 2nd 99 in time for me to do the actual glitch where you could have an untrimmed cape equipped even with two 99s.

 

Unlucky :/ Still worth trying

FML I was looking forward to doing it, but I thought you had to die in F2P, go back to P2P, buy the cape, go back to F2P, and telegrab it.

 

Yeah I tried to do it with my Quest cape but it didn't work. It would be could if you could buy both.

 

Tried in vain to convince a friend of mine who was collecting 98's to do it.

Failed

Nice lie. Quest cape doesn't trim any skillcape.

 

I tried to do this about 2 weeks ago, via the dropping method. Was extremely pissed off when it trimmed because I'd picked it up, lol.

You have to drop it on f2p then telegrab it after getting 99

 

Quest capes do not trim
