Another kid is 92-99-90, 97 hp.

I lost 4 100m stakes in a row to a guy the other day who was the same stats as me except 24 def less

You're sure you didn't fall for the twin accounts trick for the 45M stake? It's where 2 accounts have the same name, or close. Such as something like "ALpha" and "AIpha" They will both show up the same on RS.

The point there is that you look up the wrong one, thinking he isn't ranked in defense. Then the other one sends a stake request and you, thinking it's the other guy who isn't ranked, stake a guy who has better/equal stats.

Just throwing out stuff.

 

Like others have said, it is pretty random who is going to win.

That being said, you cannot rely solely on your stats to win you the match. Boxing is no exception to that.

Whether people like to admit it or not, there are strategies you can use to give yourself the upper hand in just about any stake.

 

I'm positive, looked up the other combo's of the name, none are maxed.

I'm pretty sure 99-97-99 is going to win to a 82-99-*(not ranked in def) anyday.

 

But it didn't. So it stands to reason that type of logic cannot be applied to staking.

I can get wiped by someone multiple times in a row, simply relying on my stats boxing, then go into a stake with them where I actually give a damn and use my attack styles strategically (no, not changing them every hit randomly) to maximize damage on my target, while minimizing how much I take.

EDIT: forgot to mention in the scenario above, when I give a damn I win. LOL

And 99-97-99 should win every single time with you being at half HP atleast, but like I said.. RuneScape is gay like that

Boxing is basically all luck, stats are a sidedish.

 

boxing is luck but when I box most people search my cousins account because names almost identical to mine and it shows 95 96 92 with 99hp whereas mines is 99 99 99 with 99 hp
