You should now the surroundings better than us. Just go to the known fast food places and ask them, as there are different laws and each manager of each place might think different.

Need help with getting a job

I spent a few years working at a fast food place, and I can give you a few tips on how to make yourself look good.

~Fill out the entire application. Put n/a instead of leaving it blank. Use a pen.

~Look decent when you go to hand it in. Never ask for an application through the drive through, hand one in that way, or ask for a follow up that way.

~There are a lot of applications, literally piles the size of a few phonebooks stacked on top of each other. When you hand it in, make sure its always a slow period. Honestly if they don't serve breakfast I know my place opened at 10am. Only being a store that served lunch, the gm was like never busy at this time, its a great opportunity to hand it in. They should be there on a Saturday morning. Or Monday and Tuesday afternoons are generally slow days. show interest in the job a little. NEVER bother to hand your application in if its busy. Look decent to.

~Do a follow up!! Almost all the people we hired were because they did follow ups. Again like handing the application in go at a time when it isn't busy.

~I know a lot of this is basic knowledge, but trust me I saw it all. Someone would hand in an application and the gm would ask me if they thought we would hire a person, I almost always guessed if we would or not without looking at the application.

Fast food places get so many applications it is impossible to go through them all, so many times they are based on small things.

    Good luck.

Oh and a final trick they could potentially use on you if you do get an interview. working in fast food can take a lot of patience. I know at my company the hiring manager would test anyone on an interview. They would purposely say that they are busy, and will be out as soon as they can. If the person on the interview pulled out there phone at any time while they were waiting for the gm, they wouldn't be getting the job.
