PayPal for -18?

HI!

I recently tried to make a Paypal but it said I had to be 18+ to make one. I am wondering, do I REALLY need to be 18? I am just using for transactions online and to receive money from my trades on sythe. I won't link a credit card or transfer funds... Do anyone below 18 uses paypal here on sythe?

It's not like they can really know, or find out for that matter. You should be fine, even with a CC.

 

You won't be able to send without linking a CC or bank account. You can still receive though. If you want to withdraw you have to have a check sent to you. I just linked an old Visa gift card, and now my sending limit is $2,000.

 

You can create an student account. Or use fake details, but I don't recommend it.

As superman said, a premiere canadian account can receive and send without BA or CC.

 

Oh, I'm Canadian! ^^ And I can't make a student account since I live it Canada and it's only for the US.

 

Im 14, I just linked my Debit card to it and my sending limit is 10k per month. I think anyway. Havent checked. If you really dont want to link a card, just use a canadian paypal. Send and recieve money with no bank account or credit/debit card.

 

Just lie about your age, doesn't matter.

 

I have a problem. I got a debit card but to register it I need a number that appears on a check but I don't have those O-o

 

the number that appears on a check is called a routing number.
you only need it to link the paypal to a bank account, not a credit card.

If you just want to use the debit card as a credit card, enter it as a credit card.

If you wanted to actually add a bank account, and it's legitimate, you can call your bank to get the routing number.

 

I'm 16 and I have a PayPal, It's easy to get a Debit Card where I live. Just use real information as they tend to go over the Address, But use a fake birth date. I hope that helped.

 

Be careful when you link your real debit card if you lie about your age and they find out it's not going to go well, i personally waited until i turned 18 before i created an account. Until then i just used my parents account for any transactions i needed online.

 

Sure you can verify your account a lie about your age, but when paypal fuck you over and you try calling them up, they will call you out about you being underage and not give a damn about you. Speaking from experience here.
