How I got 5 defenders in under 15 minutes!

I was training slayer on my new main to do the Smoking Kills quest and I realized that I easily got 5 dragon defenders in about 15 minutes



Proof-


My task was to kill ~250 cyclopes and was assigned by Vannaka (although Mazchna or Achtryn also assign cyclopes). I managed to kill over 200 in under an hour and half and due to boredom, I decided to switch to multitoken mode as I had around 150 tokens in each category. Surprisingly, I got 5 dragon defenders in under 15 minutes including 3 in a row I had a ROW equipped but I dont think it helped but yeah, the fact that I was killing cyclopes slayer assignment, increased the drop rate of dragon defenders. So I guess if you are killing cyclopes as a slayer assignment you can easily get bronze through dragon defenders in under a few hours as long as you are in multi token mode and have to kill over 200 cyclopes.

tl:dr
Killing cyclopes as a slayer assignment greatly increases you chance of getting defenders if you are in multi token mode and have a ROW equipped(not sure).

 

You can't prove that though. You might of just been lucky. And tbh this isn't really a guide... Sorry for the flame dude.

 

Yes you cant prove this but I got 3 d defenders from my slayer task which was killing 100 cyclops.

I didnt switch to multi-token though.

 

Cant prove it but I'm certain that you get more defenders if cyclopes are your slayer task. Even the person who posted before me got 3 defenders while killing cyclopes as a slayer task.

 

yeah i think you just got lucky.

It's just luck tbh, and as the user said above me, multi token mode = common.

i get defenders faster then that most of the time. just saying

If you read what the chick asks you b4 u enter the cycs room it says that if you use the multi token way instead of a solo type of tokens you get better odds of gettings defenders..also u get to stay in longer it's a no brainer to not pick multi tokens..

 

Not proven might of just been you dont want people wasting their time..
