Rs Freezes, Why?

Well I was playing runescape and it just froze out of nowhere. So i reload, after an hour it freezes again. I thought maybe because i had too many programs on so I decided to close them all and restart comp. So I play for another hour and boom it freezes again! I don't know why it's doing that, I mean i have a pretty good computer. It's windows but I bought it new in 2008. Now it freezes every 15 sec, wtf! In more detail: Everytime I run it freezes but when I walk it doesn't. I mean I never lag so idk why this is happening out of nowhere? Can someone tell me why? And what should I do to fix it. Thanks

 

try clicking the ` button while on the runescape game (under the esc key) and type displayfps, and see if it goes to 0 when you freeze. If not im assuming its your java...

 

I just died in the wildy cause it froze up on me literally 5 minutes ago. lmao.

if its your java try downloading the runescape client, sometimes that helps

 

Reinstall Java or try playing in a different browser.

 

try reinstalling/ updating java this will probably fix your problem

What is your browser? I've heard about some Chrome + Java problems recently.

 

go to task manager and end process *********
then go to new and put ********* and it shouldnt freeze
