Powerbot

Is it true that Powerbot keylogs you/hacks your accounts?

I am currently using paid auths. however I need to bot multiple accounts while having full GUI options not the "un-registered" versions so I am considering downloading Powerbot to use.


Any opinions?

 

Never personally used Powerbot due to the rumors of them hacking an key logging you.

Cant confirm though.

 

Im not saying this was the PowerBots fault, but when I used powerbot, "someone" phished my noob account into "recovring a stolen password". They used my email to get the "password". But thats just me. Idk if it was PowerBot that grabbed my email, or if someone just "happened" to guess it.

Powerbot is good though, performance wise.

 

Theres lots and lots of speculation about it.

They did have one incident where yes this happened due to someone implementing a rogue client.

HOWEVER that issue has since been dealt with, and since then there have been no cases of Powerbot keylogging.

The client is safe, but if you want added security, then type your user/pass in yourself and have a bank pin.

Power bot = Jagex monitoring
Arbibots= No trust
Epicbot= Probally key log you because you have to install a client instead of using a folder ( Jar file)
Runedev= Good to use.

 

no powerbot doesn't keylog you.
It's an open source client... unpack the JAR and look for yourself.
