    vouches gone mad!!!!!!!!!!

This REALLY brings my blood to a boil! people on this forum come onto my threads, want to buy my stuff on the condition that i MUST go FIRST because they have 50+ vouches or something.

The thing is, these people have vouches for stuff like raising someones mining lvl from lvl 20 to 23, lending someone a rune scimitar, buying junk, vouches from leechers with ONE post, vouches for stupid things the list goes ON! im sure you know what i mean

Now i know i only have about 8 vouches but all of them ACTUALLY MEAN SOMETHING, and are decent vouches.

so my proposal is to BAN vouches on stupid stuff like the things i wrote above.. i dont know how you'd actualy enforce it but i just felt like i needed to get this off my chest! thanks xx

    vouches gone mad!!!!!!!!!!

It's your opinion on whether their vouches mean anything.
This suggestion will not be implemented, sorry, people can vouch for generally anything.

It's up to you if you find 50+ Skill Services more trustworthy instead of 50+ Account Upgrade Sales.
In the end it doesn't really matter how many vouches anyone has, it's just used as a means so people don't scam/are less likely to scam.

For example someone with 150+ Gold Sales Vouches generally wouldn't scam for an Account Upgrade.
That's just how I see it.

    vouches gone mad!!!!!!!!!!

i put my trust on join date anything in 2011 i wont even trade first to no matter how many vouches i feel alot of leecher/scammers joined late feb early jan and i just will never do it...

all vouches mean something a vouch is showing the successfulness of the trade i trust my account more with a guy who sold 75 account upgrades for a total of only $750 or so then a guy who bought 2 party hats and the other guy went first

vouches are rated on more then what was traded

We're not going to change the vouch system by doing this. It's not our job to nit-pick vouches. Furthermore, and more importantly, it's not our job to decide what is a valuable trade and what isn't. You can go on eBay and buy a telephone cord for $.25, and get the same positive feedback as you would for selling a $20,000 car.

There are threads like these made all the time and every time the replies will be the same. It is up to you to determine if someone is trustworthy or not and use your own discretion when trading with anyone. Banning vouches like the ones you suggested in your post would be way too hard to enforce to begin with.

ok it's impossible to get vouches anyways if you just started out. Even though I joined in august 2008, i was inactive until now, and nobody wants even FREE services for a vouch (like 1-30 dung, etc)

    Yep.

And it's up to the buyer/seller to decide what is worthy of a legit vouch.

    Gosh, as I've said before...

Vouches are to be interpreted by yourself however you want, and it's up to you to deem trustworthy the other or not!

    No support.

    Not smart.

My join date is 2007, and for about three and a half years of that time I've been inactive.

The only time I ever was scammed was by someone with 2009 join date to whom I went first

It can be hard to "guage" the quality of peoples vouches when your scroll through their vouch thread due to generic ones like:

    "Vouch for xx"
You then have to click the post and find out what it was for.

It would be nice if there was a lay out like:

"Vouch for xx. Sold him a pin, he went first"
"Vouch for xx. Bought 700m. I went first."

Then follow it up by sucking his dick or commenting on how the trade went, their personality whatever

Join date in terms of vouches means nothing to me. I know i have one hell of a recent join date; but, IMO - someones trust and legitimacy should be based of the quality of their vouches and amount it totales.

I.e someone with 1k vouches of 1m trades each would not deem trustworthy in my eyes. However, someone with 30 vouches of 500m+ each vouch; i would definitely deem them more safe.

really pointless to have mods have to sort through valid / non-valid vouches? you should be able to tell by yourself what vouches you deem valid and which ones you don't.. not very hard.

Report them as spam then, state in your thread that you won't go first. It's not that complicated.

Like an example, there's only three people I would ever go first to on this thread; KeroKeroCola, The Black Tux, and Tiger9110.

    vouches gone mad!!!!!!!!!!

You decide if the vouch is trustworthy.
    No one else, but you.
There is nothing the mods can do.

    If I sell 50mil @ 1mil PER PERSON for 25 cents, that's 50 vouches right there.

Would you trust that person with more than 1m? I sure wouldn't.
Before I trade anyone, I go through their vouches(if they ask me to go first)

And you can always use a MM/OMM for any trade you want, if none are on.. then ask if they will go first or wait for MM/OMM to be on.

There is nothing the staff can do about vouches (Unless they are fake)

Agreed, the fact is you still held up your end of the bargain and are thereby entitled to the positive or negative feedback. However said feedback should outline EXACTLY what was traded.

Heh yep that would probs be someone recovering/hacking an old sythe.org account. Once trusted members go AWOL the scammers come out to try ad get their old "trusted" accounts.

I agree completely. Personally i think that vouches should NOT be allowed without the description of what the trade was. Possibly even an intractable offense (2 warnings then 2 point infraction for un-detailed vouches)

I feel each vouch should include the full details of trade. including not just the account sold but the value of it etc. Possibly including a link tot he thread where the trade went dow as well would be handy ! or to screenshots of proofs.

    i.e.

Vouch for XxXXxXxX i traded him $12 for his 15mil, everything went smoothly great guy to deal with

    or

vouch for XxXXxX sold me his level 120 account for 600USD, smooth and easy trade

No support Im a leacher with 3 posts though I have a vouch. You can be trusted even with low post count. though the value of the vouch counts :O like my vouch is for buying 35m.
