Start with small trades, and find a good businnes, eg. If you are goldfarming than sell gold, you must be creative at all.

    Becoming a trusted seller?

How to become a trusted seller?

    The simple answer is reputation.

You can have all the vouches in the world but if you have an appalling reputation it's not going to be nearly as enough as someone who has half your vouches but an impeccable reputation.

That being said vouches usually means good reputation.

Other things that contribute to reputation are ranks, including donor and mod ranks. Other contributing factors to a much lesser extent include, Join date and post count. If someone has 10,000 posts and 0 vouches, he is deemed more trustworthy that someone with 1 post and 0 vouches. Post count is a marginal contributer to reputation, and on Sythe you trade on someones vouches and reputation.

While vouches/word of mouth are the most effective ways to become trusted, there are others. One very over-looked method of gaining trust is to be very helpful, mature, and on topic with your posts. When people see that you're treating others with respect and kindness, they will be more likely to trust you and treat you the same way.

    Becoming a trusted seller?

Start by trading with TRUSTED people only (you will go first of course). Once you have a few vouches, people with be more willing to trust you.

    Becoming a trusted seller?

Everyone wants to be "trusted" though the fact isn't if you want to be or not. It's kind of like a job in the army, navy, etc. You need to work your way up there, prove to everyone else and gain respect. Quanlity of the vouch (which is something the trader may or may not leave after a successful trade) is better than the quality you have. Sure, while you're selling something it's nice to have a tag "100+ vouches", but if someone actually looks through those and sees they're only for upgrades, it doesn't exactly show you're trusted.

Always be willing to use a MM as well.

Early join dates mean squat if you only have so little posts. Having an account from 2005 with 100 posts or less is basically having an account that you just made 5 years ago. Join dates are useless if you don't have the reputation to back it up.

Every minor detail matters I believe, your join date.
Mostly its your image, and how you portray yourself.

This has everything to do with your avatar, signatures vouches and whatever minor detail that can help you build an image

Become active, do services for people, help people out and buy gp/services from people and go first.
Everyone has to start somewhere :)
