Desktop or Laptop?

Oh laptops fail so hard. Desktops are so much better in performance for anything! Compare a $1000 desktop to a laptop in performance and desktop wins by a mile.

 

I prefer desktops but I'm stuck with this shitty laptop :3.

 

laptops are good to take around the house which is great. I have never owned a decent desktop but i would prefer one for playing WoW.

Sit in a comfortable chair/nice desk.

Desktop, I feel lost and insecure when I use a laptop

 

I have 2 of each. My desktop is my favourite though, use it for gaming alot.
I also have 2 laptops, 1 that I use for school which is a piece of shit, and one thats for just bumming around on.

Desktop gets my vote for the performance.

 

I have a Sony Vaio, It works as good as a desktop if not better, I like laptops because they can be easily moved from one place to another. If your planning on buying a Computer, I recommend you get a Good laptop With good Graphics (assuming your a gamer) and a good RAM/ROM.

 

Laptop, portable, can be just a fast, can be used anywhere if you have an air card. Plus sometimes I like to lay on my bed or on the couch and not have to sit in a chair all the time.

 

Desktop, Laptops feel so small and piss me off for some reason. They make me feel like I'm trapped for some odd reason lol. I like how you can use them everywhere though. Don't like how they heat up a lot though

 

I'd prefer a laptop, pretty much because of the portability

Desktops are the past.. if you have the money you could get a i7-920 extreme 4.2 ghz laptop with SLI Nvidia gtx and like 12 gig ram... but for that you need like 4000 dollars... i guess you could get a desktop for half the price but i prefer laptop any day... watching/playing in bed is the best...
