I never said it did. I stated that the more education you have, the more likely you are to be an atheist. I am not saying why this is, I am just stating that it is.

So according to you, a test that has only been conducted in the United States speaks for the rest world?

I must admit, I have never seen nor heard of the website before. I'm also trying to look for the exact research, where is that? (Because there is no way that the article is the research).

I kind of forgot that people lived around the world. I would assume that it holds true, at least to an extent, in other places as well. I don't know if they publish the raw data but they are one of the top polling groups in the US.

 

The reason I would like to see some sort of research (documentation) based upon what you're linking to, is because it doesn't really mention the ethnic background of the people that have been asked the question.

It's a known fact that America has a lot of people that has immigrated to the States. - People that have it harder to achieve an education; because of different language issues, or even social problems. I believe if this was done another place, outside of America the results would be different.

(Edit: Just so you don't believe that what I mentioned above is the only reason, I also believe that because so many people (in America) believes in God, that won't give very accurate results - compared to other places).

 

On many of their posts they do include that information. It's slightly annoying the did not. I'd love to see more information taken to see what else the people have in common besides just education.
