10def worth it for korasi?

Im wondering if i should get 10def on my pure to get Korasi, do you think its worth it?

Also by getting 78attk i could go for 80 and get rapier+Maul.

 

No. If you get 13 defence from nature spirit and rune gloves it might be though. I'd just go 20 defence or 30 with turm.

 

yeah i went from my ags pure to initiate-korasi pure, its totally worth it.

Just to give you an idea of it, with 97str 99 attack, d boots/barrow gloves/neitiznot/defender/korasi /w prayer and super pots I hit up to 620 (around 104 str bonus?)

 

to be honest i dont think it will help that much... because when you fight pures it is easy to spec them out with a dds. but its hard to spec out barrows pures so thats why upper levels use korasi, so they can hit through their defence. but pure dont have any defence to hit through

 

Korasi for the win! Always, they have been popular for "instant KO"ing the opponent.

 

If you're a high-levelled pure you should get it to use it against rune pures.

It hits 50% to 150% of your max hit, actually for your str bonus its fine, but if you get a chaotix or so, your max hit will rise like anything.
I'd say its definitely worth getting 10def, which is like just a few combat levels.

i just know from personal experience, if you dont have energy transfer and you pk somebody using korasi, be prepared to get your ass pj'd fast. people hate korasi's and the fact that you wouldnt be able to double spec makes you an easy kill.

 

nt rly i usually use full dharks whip and korasi and i ko alot of ppl with korasi i use dds for 1 spec at the start so they think im using dds and to poison them then for 2nd spec korasi and there dead easy as pie

I agree korasi is an excellent weapon to pk people with. It's just that the majority of pkers, whether they are using korasi or not, consider it overpowered and basically a noob weapon. Thus you will get pjed a lot by haters and since the spec drains 60% of your bar, the only other spec you can do right after is a dds. Severely limiting your ability to ko the pjer. Overall though the korasi is a lot of fun and easy to pk with

No one will fight you if you have Korasi's. I can tell you that from experience. If they do, they'll protect mage the whole time.

You really can't bring a stronger weapon to use in between specs because Korasi protects over everything. I can't wait for the Item protect update though.
