"Report a Scammer" automated system

Seems like it would be very useful, considering that every time I take a look in that forum it is a bunch of people that got scammed by imposters and posting text logs as evidence.

 

Don't let this great idea die. Support.

 

My scammer report I posted yesterday, you can clearly read the MSN chat log and the payment I sent, still no action has been taken. I support a automated system it would be nice considering, since I have been on sythe I've had to take a whole new level of precaution with its traffic. With the amount of fraudulent users that are on here its a shame..

How is one post going to prove someone is scamming, unless they straight up say... "I scammed".

I think people just need to read the stickies, and try to post enough proof...

Or be infracted for wasting the staff's time, if their going to post useless information(chatlogs for example)..

Your report isn't the only one that mods have to look at, ya know?

 

Sounds like a great idea if its manageable. You'd have to look out for people spamming scammer reports on anyone that wont go first and that sort of thing, I'm sure people could get carried away. Maybe make it timed so you can't report anything that makes you upset.

 

Anything that makes scammer reports that much easier to handle. Support.

 

The big problem with just infracting a person that doesn't supply sufficient information on a scam report, is basically like kicking a person while they are down. I do agree however, more people need to take the time to read the stickies, as it will make our lives ten times easier when trying to go through the reports. This idea still is a great idea though and should be fully supported.

 

Support. Way to many 'trusted' idiot who scam newcomers get away with it nowadays since most of those newfags don't know how to report properly.

same While no action has been taken the scammers are out there scamming more and more people causing more and more reports... Report a Scammer should be like calling the police Once the report is sent in it should be investigated right away.. POlice dont take reports and let the criminals just run free they go and get them bastards off the street.

 

I would vote for a rank that allows highly trusted people to TEMP ban people that have clearly scammed, sometimes reports take hours to be seen by mods, they could temp ban them, then globals go and perm ban them.

full support, this would be a great to easily report scammers

sometimes when I'm in a rush I use the report a spammer button, spares me alot of time and does get the work done

 

Yes 100%, I am tired of many people not reading the stickies and not being able to post pictures clearly.

 

As much support as this got, it doesn't seem as if it's going to happen.
