Desktop or Laptop?

Which do you prefer and why?

I prefer desktop because It has so much more performance than a laptop.

 

Laptop
I'm constantly moving around and like being able to take it when needed.

 

i was a desktop man till i brought my laptop for 1400$ last month, now i can watch tv and use a computer in my bed LOL.

 

Doesnt matter as long as its MAC

 

I have both, and I prefer my desktop. My laptop can die today and I wouldn't care

My desktop has a much higher performance, bigger screen, no heat burning my lap...

But the laptop is good for studying on the go. Lunch break at work, at the boyfriend's house, when I want to watch tv.

 

Desktop for gaming and laptop for school work. ^_^

 

laptop hands down, only owned one desktop a long time ago. i hated not being able to play games, facebook, skype, etc in my bed

 

Id say desktop. Never really liked laptops.

 

Big fan of the laptop when the performance increases I will genuinely love them.

 

Laptops.. To unreliable.. Mine always breaks..

Laptops are shitty unless u spend 1500$ on one then its worth it. otherwise desktop.

 

Laptop. Portability is everything

 

I have both but like to browse the web whilst in bed + when I travel or at school I need to use a laptop although to play games ect I use my desktop.

Laptop got my vote.

 

A dekstop computer will always be better in my opinion.
the reason is that it had more potential for performance, and it can be upgraded without issues.
Whereas laptops can barely be upgraded because of how they're made.

Also with a desktop you can use whatever monitor/keyboard/mouse you want... I've seen people with 40+ inch visio TV's as their monitors.

A desktop's only downfall is portability... but that's what smartphones are for now-a-days anyway

 

Desktops, way better for gaming.

 

Laptop, it's portable nuf said.

 

I like both. I use my computer for gaming and forum browsing, and my laptop when I am in my bed watching youtube/surfing the web.

 

Depends what you do.. I like my laptop because it's very convenient and it has a 18.4 " screen
If you're in school ( college/uni ) laptops are the way to go

 

If you can only have one computer get a laptop. I like desktops more tho

 

Desktop for hardcore gaming and lots of work if you don't need to take it with you, otherwise get a laptop because its easily mobile, you can game on it (not with highest graphics of course) and you can put it away easier so you don't have to worry as much about others accessing your stuff (assuming you live with others).
