What to say.

I got a temp ban like 6 days ago so the first thing I did was an account recovery on a school computer so that when I appeal on the same computer, I would have a different IP address so I could claim my account was stolen and the guy who stole it used a bot. Some things you should know, the account in question has been accessed by several users in different locations in the past (about 4-5 different people) so it's not like I've only used one IP that can be attributed to the entire life of the account. Also, it's been almost 9 years since I made this account. I have never botted on him until about 3 weeks ago. Now, I have used my current IP (the IP on which I botted) for almost 2 years.

I have seen, as of late, that Jagex "hates when people don't admit to botting" and that sometimes, they will even perm ban you after you appeal your temp ban.

What should I do? Appeal with a new IP address (one that has never accessed the account) and claim I was hacked? Or simply admit to botting and remind Jagex that I have been a loyal player for the past 8 years and say I just tried it because I didn't think Jagex really paid attention/cared anymore and request that I be granted clemency just this once? Perhaps I should just not appeal at all?

I would do what eennee said and just not appeal. Just wait out the 14 days. Be grateful it's only 2 weeks and not forever

Yes you are very lucky it isn't a perm, 9 years gone would seriously be lame. I'd leave the appeal for a rainy day

 

Don't appeal and stop botting that account. It's 9 years, you could have the 10 year cape soon if they made it.

 

Just ride out the rest of the time like everybody else had said.

 

If you get banned then you are already caught. Jagex knows whats up and your fucked. wait it out. Hope for the best. Jagex doesn't give a shit about anyones accounts. They want your $$$. thats all
