Armadyl...

A friend of mine keeps begging me to go to armadyl with him to duo. I personally don't care for GWD but I would like some opinions from you guys. Specifically armadyl, is it worth it?

My stats are 92 range, 99 HP, 99 Defence, 71 Summoning, and 80 Prayer. Can I do it?

Also, what are the drop rates?

I personally don't think gwd is worth it now that theres free trade. You can easily make any where from 10-50M a hour staking safely depening on your stats. If your just gonna go with your friend for a few trips for the hell of it, go for it but I wouldn't camp for weeks trying to make money.

 

That was his intent. I'm maxed melee and I've tried boxing, it's nice for a while and make a few mil but then after that I ended up getting cleaned. He assured me GWD was a great way to make money... Any more thoughts?

 

Since youre max melee, go bot some monsters. You will make your money back.

 

I have money now but I really don't want to lose it again. Any ideas on what monsters I can bot?

 

Personally I think armadyl is useless, I've never seen a drop there apart from shards, and I've gone a fair bit widely spaced over the past 2 ish years.

If you're going for a bit of fun, then do, cus it is sorta fun the first time, as most things are.

 

Go with your friend. You'll enjoy a new boss and getting used to it. Apart from that, it unlocks a new music track ^.^

 

You could give it a try. Just bring lots of prayer potions and some good armor.

 

you and him could camp for hours to be honest might aswell, even if you come up with no nice loot it's still good to learn how to do it if you wanna solo one day.

If you wanna camp monsters, id bot ankous if you havent got 85 slay or dung

they drop bloods n deaths so often and make a fair bit over time.

In all fairness; I made well over 150M in 1 week camping Bandos. My Clan Chat was huge and widely known that week; and I still get people asking me if I'll go back to Bandos.

Although I've never done Armadyl; I would like to.

 

Yes you can do it - easily.

Do you have overloads? (it's a big boost)
And do you have enough money for good equipment?

Armadyl godwars is well worth it if you duo or trio (small groups) don't ever go to masses unless you have high lsp.

 

I never really bothered with Armadyl just because of how long it took to get the kill count. It is definitely worth a shot going with your friend if you guys know what you are doing.

 

I love GWD personally, since I'm mainly a range tank. Your stats are perfect for it, all you need is the right gear. It'll be even easier since you're going to be duoing with a friend

If you're going Duo, you're fine. Just bring some good arm and p pots.
