Addicted to botting.

Anyone else bot so much that it's getting out of hand?
For example, people who say "ok i'll bot 99 rc because it's hard to do legit" and once achieved you continue to make excuses to bot other skills until it gets to the point you bot skills when you can obtain the exp faster if you played legit, even if you are not busy irl.

Myself, I have achieved 127 combat from pure botting, a 2.2k total as well. I know I can't stay lucky from not getting banned from botting, but everytime i want to play legit i end up starting a skill for about 20 mins then switch to powerbot/epicbot/rs2bot and continue browsing the internet.

Anyone else do this constantly?

 

I know how you feel. I find the training of any skill (including combat) to be unbearable. The only things that I find enjoyable on RuneScape are PKing and staking, and I don't even find time for them now in between botting.

 

Yeah all I do is bot now when I have time to actually play.
I guess it's gotten to the point where I could care less if I get banned

 

Ive botted 10 99s on the same account. When I started I wanted to only do one.

 

I've botted 14 99s on one account, and 3 throughout other accounts. It's very addictive

 

The thing that really gets me when I train combat is when I actually try to interactive with everyone else training, slowly figuring out that 95% of the people there are botting. Then I usually say to hell with it and turn my bot.

 

I'd say you should start doing quests or tasks

 

Addicted to saving time? Sounds good to me.

I've never actually skilled before since I come back to Runescape. The last time I played properly was in grade 4 and that was over 6 years ago. All I do now is set up my bots and bot cash.

Don't worry about your 'addiction' Just bot smart and you shouldn't get banned.

 

I tried to quit RS now i just bot my spare main and have since opened a free botting topic.

I dont think im addicted but jeez' take like 10mins to set up 4 bots, and then i can do watever i want.. if they stuff up oh dam another 10mins.. thats a shit load better then grinding RC, or agility or any other those kinda skills, also i think the more i bot the less i actually want to play RS legit.

 

Ya I don't do skills legit. Honestly why would you spend hours doing them when you can spend 5 minutes and then just leave and do something enjoyable?

Indeed. At first I was like, hey free trade and pking are back, let's go try rs again.
After like a good month of leggit playing stuff became hard, you know, the moment you hit level 50 in a skill all you have to do is repeat.
Also I noticed there were bots everywhere, it's kinda hard not to see them when they make training impossible.

At first I was pissed of, but when I saw how easy and rewarding botting had become I was sol.
I mean, you can't compare the stuff they make now with my old guild miner from back in the days who controlled my mouse.
Also, it's a fun game to 'bot smart' and a bit of a gamble to don't get caught. It makes things exiting.
You could say I'm a bot adict now.
Instead of thinking how I will train a skill and how long it would take me, I look up how much the script for a certain skill is going to cost me and calculate exactly how many hours I need to leave my computer on.

This takes a bit the fun out of the game tho, but I don't really care, as long as I can pk.

 

I'm not really addicted to botting, I just find it to be a lot less troublesome for me.

Plus, I have played legit since around Easter of 05. I think I deserve to bot a bit.

 

I can't even legit 35-48 agility..... I am waiting for the free bots to update.
