    Nope,

    All of us have muscles when we're born, It's just whether how well developed they are.

    If you wanna gain weight fast, Get Weight Gainer and do bodyweight training.

    Push ups, Pull ups, Isometric static training and so on.

    dont eat a lot of fast food as weird as it seems I started gaining weight because I started drinking beers/ alcohol (probably beer belly lol) but best thing is to have milk trust me it helps, have 3 glasses of milk a day or even with every meal it will strengthen your bones and help you grow, don't believe people when they say after 18 you don't grow males can grow till the age of 21/22, I'm 18 going onto 19 in a month I use to weigh 96 pounds when I was 17, over a year of eating healthy, drinking milk after every meal, I've reached about 130 pounds and grew from 5 foot 2 to 5 foot 8, still growing :),

    All those facts you hear about eating McDonalds every day helps you put on weight is a lie people just assume because fat people eat it you will become fat, but people don't realize the fat you gain is unhealthy and it just goes through your body and goes straight to the toilet, whereas healthy foods get absorbed into your body.

    Another thing to try is go to GNC and they can provide vitamins and supplements, you might possibly be lacking something in your body or see a specialist

    I've seen specialists for the past 8 years with regards to my weight and height. They can't find any reason for my short height.

    My dad is 6'2 and my mum is 5'8.

    And I can't have milk I have lactose intolerance.

    My dads 6 foot and my moms 5, I think you should try finding a vitamin supplement which replaces milk in your diet, trust me multi- vitamins will do wonders, obviously you won't see a one month jump from your height to your dad's height but you will start seeing little growth and weight gain, I think your lack of milk might explain your small height and low weight.

    Also add exercise it gets you hungry, and helps digest vitamins from foods into your body

    If you eat more calories than your body needs to function you will put on weight, albeit almost solely fat but in your case weight is weight.

    There isn't any secret tips to gain or lose weight (besides growth hormones.) Calories in vs. calories out.

    **From the looks of it, you have a pretty high metabolism. Don't think you're exempt from the law of calories. You just need to eat more.

    -- Mass gainers are just high calorie shots with a touch of creatine in most cases. Not necessary but if literally cannot eat anymore it's worthwhile.

    Some high calorie foods you should look into; peanut butter, olive oil, white bread, dressings like mayo, ect. Lots of thick spreadable things are very calorie dense.

    Besides that make sure you're getting adequate macro(molecules/nutrients) such as fat, protein and carbs. While fat is mandatory it isn't what you should look for in foods, contrary to popular belief: the nutrient 'fat' will not make you fat. Get a decent amount of all 3.

    tl;dr -
    Eat more. Nobody 'cannot gain weight.' They are just not eating enough.

    (To all the people who cannot make gains while working out/playing lacrosse, football, soccer, ect. Eat more. Calorie surplus = muscle (mass) gains when exercising and you often burn off all your calories actually performing.)

    Not always true. I consume a total of 3500+ calories everyday, as minimum. And I just don't gain weight even if I'm on holidays just being on the TV and PC.

    Weight control is also on genetics.

    Buy some weight gainer and protein and start working out. Muscle weighs more then fat.

    Completely false. Metabolism has to do with genetics; calories in vs. calories out is completely true every time no matter what, there is no opinion or belief - it is real life. Unless you have a severe (And I'm talking the most severe, most rare and obscene) genetic disorder you are not an exception to basic human function.

    You're obviously miscounting your calories or you're pretty heavy and that IS your maintenance. You're pretty uneducated in the subject it seems. Judging from your recent posts asking about their BMI and spewing random broscience isn't helping anyone. FYI - BMI is the worst indicator of health you can ever find, according to BMI I'm quite overweight but I can guarantee I'm more fit than most on this board.

    At the moment I don't really care whether it's fat or muscle. I just need to be over 50kgs by November.

    Well you could just keep eating and eating and eventually you will put on weight as long as you eat more than you burn off.

    It really doesn't work. I literally eat a lot. I'm not allowed to do any sport so I don't think I even burn it off.

    Well if you keep doing it and you literally do nothing, your metabolism will catch up and you will gain weight but you'd have to force yourself to eat a lot in order to do that.
