Question about bans

Hey just wondering, is somebody permanently banned when there is *BANNED* under his or her name?

Yes. They can have either BANNED or TEMP BANNED
Banned means perm banned

 

Temporary banned can also lead to a permanent ban because when Sectionals ban scammers or vaders they can only temp ban, and have a global permanently ban the user.

It is generally smart to avoid banned users in general as someone that is temporarily banned can just as well be permanently banned.

 

A temp Ban usually is investigated by a global or normal moderator and if deemed true is usually changed into a permanent ban. They are given out by sectional mods or by normal mods if unsure about a case etc (until it is resolved)
