Just about to sell some Gold, then as i'm about to log in and give it to the buyer I get an e-mail from Jagex telling me that I have an infraction on my account.

It is then removed soon after. Wierd stuff :s

 

Did you login via the email? if so you're hacked. Change your pass as soon as possible. That's a phishing email. Jagex NEVER emails you.

Does the phish e-mail come with that offence page?

 

You can never be to safe. Change your password, like stated above.

yes the phishing email leads you to a login page, then you login and it comes up with the offenses page.

I guess the giveaway was the date! Pass changed and everything is cool.

 

Its hard because they are exactly the same as the jagex emails. I just ignore everyone.

 

consider your self lucky. Jagex never sends emails.

 

Close call lol, phishers are getting more an more crafty, I wonder how many people they get a day.

 

Dood the same shit happened to me, before I knew about the phishes I checked my offenses on the actual rs site and it had real world trading crossed out like yours lol, weird stuff.

edit: maybe I did get phished =| , at one point my password was invalid, but I recovered before hackers had a chance :laugh:

I get like 3 e-mails per day lol. Fail people.

Just, don't receive any e-mails from "Jagex" Mark as junk and delete.
