Disappointed in Far cast and scam reports....

Ive provided legit info i think im sorry that i closed out that chat when i posted almost 7 pics that showed him logging his msn matching and my mills going from 60mill to 50mill and the trade screen almost everything. HE LOGGED OUT RIGHT AFTER THE TRADE AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE TIMES. But i have the msn history chat they say youre not supposed to post those but its all i have so i posted it and hopefully this scammer will be banned if not its just another scammer running around.......

 

You didn't even read the stickies. It's your fault entirely.

 

How is it my fault that the most crucial part of the report is posted as a chat log? Chat logs cannot be used as proof, read the stickies.

 

as chat logs? most of the reports are send as the msn screen shots i read through the stickies and i did not see RSName needed to be posted... im sorry but i thought 8 pics showin no money sent me losing 10mill and him logging out was legit proof? i posted what he said his rs name is and yes it is a chat log because i exited out of the msn convo and i dont know how not to make it a chat log anymore. But im guessing that he just logged out because i owed him 10mill right??

I was not getting an attitude towards you? It would be alot more graphic if i did and its fine w.e when the next scam strikes hit as you can see he targets more new people that wouldnt know how to do half the stuff we can always say you helped stop him

If any staff feel as if that scam report wasn't missing a key component, then by all means, they should ban him.

 

From what I read Farcast is always an asshole. *No flame intended, called feedback.*

Dude.. #1 Rule when dealing with people you're trading with: ALWAYS Screenshot MSN Chat, the RSN they give you.

I'm sorry to say; But Farcast for every MM you've done for me, when I hesitated on clicking "accept" You can bet your ass I typed: "20M to Farcast for MM of an Account trade" and screened it.

You can never be too careful Was, Here is something you should do to prevent further things like this from happening:

Download Windows Live
Go to Options > Messages > Message History > Check the box that says, "Automatically keep a history of my conversations." and hit Apply and Ok

By doing this you have the ability to go back to your message with the other party; and screenshot it without copying + pasting or cropping, you can view both parties MSN's, so indeed you will have the RSN in there if you have that setting.

I'm sorry for your loss but you've actually gained a few things from it.

 

I wouldn't give him that last bit of advice. The mods here at sythe denied claims because of that. They are considered chat logs and cannot be used as proof.

Don't be so bloody ignorant and gain a bit of respect. Farcast had every right to deny that report, as crucial sections were only provided as chat logs which can be easily fabricated and/or edited.

Though, I would recommended requesting a TwC for 'mypileofcash' and an eye kept on him for the future Farcast, he does seem shady in his trading practice.

 

By that logic any picture can be easily fabricated rather it be chat logs or RS screen shots thus rendering all picture proof void.

It's clear that this guy is scamming yet no one isn't doing anything about it. So you rather wait for him to scam someone that takes video proof for something before the staff bans him? How many people have to get scammed before something happens to this guy? I feel sorry for the new people to the black market that doesn't understand how trading goes that fall victim to this guy. Maybe enough scam reports will get him banned.

 

I've always wondered this. I'm no photoshop guru but it doesn't sound too hard to fake msn conversation pictures.

 

You can expand or used to be able to expand chat history to show the user's full MSN, I'm not saying JUST use the chat log as proof, Using the log coupled with the actual chat window, trade screens, ect will provide more evidence though; Just my 2 cents in, I do it and it comes in handy at times

 

Msn chat logs can be edited.

There is no proof that you actually gave the gold to him.

And half the pictures of the msn window, you typed his email address in the chat. You didn't hover over it, so we know it's him.

It's a good portion of proof, but the main details were left out. Your fault, sorry.

 

To be honest, editing pictures of the actual MSN conversation is just as easy as editing chat logs (perhaps adding 5 more minutes of work though). In this day and age, pictures prove pretty much nothing. Sad, but the truth, and that's how it is. Everyone should video all trades, that's the only real proof of anything.

As to the OP, sucks, but it's life. You didn't follow the rules, you don't have the right to be mad at anyone.
