What does "Less CPU" Do?

Does the Less CPU option affect the performance of the bot? I am using RS Buddy, and I noticed that the bot would constantly mess up at the barrel puzzle. So I turned Less CPU off and it solved it in a few minutes. Coincidence?

 

It slow downs the FPS showed so it uses less CPU. If you deactivate it, client will use all CPU it needs.

So yeah, that's about it.

 

I think it slows down the speed and efficiency of the bot, which uses less CPU.

 

With 3 clients and 6 bots running my CPU is nearly 100%.
After I turned on "Use Less CPU" it dropped to 60%.

Is there any reason I shouldn't be doing this?

If you do use it, the bot often fails the easiest things. You will notice randoms becoming harder and harder to pass, slowed down xp rates, and less profit per/hr.

Are you sure about this? Rsbuddy/Rsbot use memory editing in order to process. The visual appearence of the game should not affect the bots quality.

 

Not true, I've been using less cpu since it was enabled as an option.

It's just for crappier computers. I never lagg with it enabled nor fail random events.

 

Yes, This is sorta true.

I was running 9 RSbuddy bots with 2 bots on the "Less CPU" feature, After like 2-3 hours, my profit per hour decreased by like 5-8k.

It was going steady until I turned on that feature so I'm pretty sure it somehow affects your bots when you're running ALOT.

If you're running a few, it shouldn't have any effect.

 

I run 2-3 bots fishing and cursing, makes no diff.

Rsbuddy just doesn't do all the events -.-
