What Chaotic ?

ok i am lvl 81 dung and only about 10 hours from getting my first chaotic

I cant decide between Chaotic Longsword or Rapier.

my stats are
80 attack
80 strength
81 defense

I am stuck on which one i should get with my gear i have full Bandos, DFS, helm of nez, d boots, and glory.

many people say rapier but there speed is only 1 bar difference according to runescape wiki and there is 18str difference and the longsword is alot more accurate with only being 5 strength different between a godsword and the longsword it hits pretty hard

so my main question is does the rapier's speed make up for its lower damage, and lower over all stats

 

From what I've heard, rapier is better

 

Go with the rapier, it can do everything really, I use it to pvm, and pk, it works out good.

Longsword and maul are extremes. Rapier is the middle - best of both worlds.

 

i would get the rapier, rapier is an amazing pvm weapon, that can also tear up pvp. it has amazing attack speed, and can still pull off the big 500-600 hits that are what u need.

 

k looks like i am getting rapier as my first chaotic weapon should be getting in a few hours only about 8-9k tokens left but the bots being uber slow at these low lvls

 

Rapier, its just an all-around better weapon

 

nice, i would say rapier if you still haven't chosen yet, just wondering what bot were you using? I'm using idung 75-80 atm hopefully i can get it by monday, and get my rapier =D

 

yea i would def get the rapier as said its kind of the "medium" of the chaotic weapons, kinda balanced so great everywhere

one handed godsword vs whip on crack

 

Rapier is better imo, have used both..

The only time CLS comes in handy is for frosts and bandos solos... but rapier still gets the job done in both instances

 

i ended up with cls and i am loving it still destroys compared to whip

full bandos fury zerk ring and cls with dfs is really fun i am going for defenders now

def not pking lolz i cant pvp for anything

and max hit is sadly only a 346 but it hits alot of 200s where my whip was hitting more 80-90s

after getting 4 99s and a 1849 total with only 81-80-81 combat stats i am going for max melle now
