    Question about Western Union

I'm not sure if this is the right section, and yes I've already read the sticky on Western Union but I still have a question. (As I've never used WU before)

So basically when you're sending money via WU, I know that there is a tax. Just as an example, say the buyer is sending money from the US to US for $700. I calculated and the fee is $58.00.

So in actuality, for those who have had experience, does the buyer simply only send you $642 to cover for the tax?

I realize it's kind of a stupid question, but I'm just curious.

And yes, the fee for sending $642 is the same as the fee for sending $700. ($58 fee) I checked :D

I didn't understand what you are asking.

Are you going to pay the WU fees over a $700 trade?

    Question about Western Union

no no, I'm just wondering if the buyer pays the fees.

So say you buy a $700 dollar item. do you only send $642 because there is a $58 fee for sending it and you don't want to end up spending $758?

and thank you to the mod who moved this into the correct section :)

You send $700 including fees, so yes, the seller will end up receiving $642 if you both agree that of course.

    Question about Western Union

Some gold buyers cover the fees aswell, and some sellers covers the fees. Its a deal you have to make with your buyer/seller. But in my experience, when ive sold gold the buyer has always paid the fees.
