lolo was basically correct. Intel and AMD are the only two reliable brands these days in terms of processors, and Intel is more mainstream and generally easier to work with.

For Intel processors, you first want to look at the series.
i7>i5>i3>core 2 duo>Pentium (there are some exceptions)
Then, you must look at the cores. 8 (which you dont need)>4>2>1
Then you finally look at the GHz speed. The higher the speed the better.

 

While I have never tried using their services, both the online and irl reviews of their products that I have seen have been very negative. They tend to take shortcuts, such as cutting down pieces, mislabeling parts to make them look better, and even mass buying used/defunct parts, refurbishing them, and branding them as new.

Also, building a PC yourself can be a very fun experience.
