Scammer's .

 

People who use the excuse 'I will not go first because I have been scammed a couple times' or along the lines of that. What is even more annoying is when they have just joined the site like 2 days ago with no posts/vouches/etc.

That right there makes them look suspicious as it somehow shines light on the fact that they probably have actually done things on the site, but on another account...which makes you think that they were a probable ban evader.

Another annoying thing is when you have someone who says they are trusted and they don't mind using an MM/OMM ,etc., but when you get one they mysteriously have to leave and you never hear from them again.(Usually a block)

 

The background of the forum lol.

 

It's so easy to get reported for spam.... I mean, sure spammers should be stopped, but some posts that are obviously not spam get reported just because the thread creator dislikes them.

And special mention: scammers.

 

You have to understand that there are users on Sythe who are more sensitive than others.

If you can't post without sounding like an asshole, don't even post.

I hate people who think they're giving good advices but in reality, they're just insulting OP in a in-direct way and that shit is obvious.

Well, that's your opinion and moral stand point. If the creator of the thread thinks somebody sounds like an asshole, he should ignore the person's advice. Just because you sound like an asshole doesn't= spammer.

I find the word spammer is often thrown around just because somebody doesn't like the way that guy or girl said this, because it wasn't ''nice'' enough. That doesn't make it spam though.

No, It's the other way around.

The posters are the one stirring up problems, Tell them to Ignore OP, Not the other way around.

There are many reasons as to why a post gets deleted. ( Rude, Harassment, causing problems, Going off topic, Insults and trolling etcs ).

If you sound like an asshole, You're marked for spam and reported for "Rudeness". Spam is just spam, There are more details inside a report.

There's a fine line between being rude and truthful but harsh. I think in personal sections such as personal support, rude attitude should never be accepted, but if it comes to an OP just being plain ridiculous in a Runescape thread for example, a bit of truth shouldn't hurt. Especially if you're trying to help out at the same time.

But that is not the issue, I think some people on Sythe just take it a little too far, and are far too quick to throw report threats at you, just because you've sensibly but harshly told them what should be done or the way things should be. I don't accept mindless rudeness either, but sometimes it's actually thoughtful and makes sense, so the way it's said shouldn't matter especially when it's said in a specific situation.

I dislike the fact that the "Report a Scammer" section gets updated like once a week. There are loads of scammers who are probably scamming again by the time someone actually goes through and bans people.

 

What i hate about sythe is that sometimes its really slow to load ... My internet is fast

 

By stating that some people reply 'harshly', I'm guessing that you're talking about the ones who swear at someone because they ask 'certain' things, while at the same time answering them.

That right there ^ is plain unreasonable as you can get your point across without being harsh, no matter how idiotic someone may come across as to you.

It also depends on how the OP brings up the subject: If somebody is asking a question genuinely, even if it may sound like a 'stupid' question to you or whomever, there is no excuse for rudeness, regardless if you're also pointing them in the right direction.

 

The same rule applies to every forum section on Sythe except "Spam forum".

I still don't see a reason to sound harsh or even show a little bit of anger towards the OP for posting such questions. What's the big deal? Sure maybe if it was a question where everyone should know the answer by now but still, It wouldn't hurt to show a little kindness or just be neutral and not include your personal emotions or grudges.
