    Rsbuddy - Virus?

I've been using Rsuddy for about a week now with absolutely no problems. Recently when I opened Rsbuddy it had asked me if I wanted to Update. I opted not to update. And now i've been getting pop ups telling me I need to scan. Noton hasn't detected anything

I don't think so, I've used RSBuddy for 55-91 Mage so far and haven't had any problems. I always update when it prompts me to (Almost daily for some reason).

    Rsbuddy - Virus?

If the popup is an antivirus called XP AntiVirus 2011, or XP Anti-Spyware or something else. Then it's fake, it's called a rogue. I got it on the 2 computers i've downloaded RSBuddy with, but the one im using right now doesn't have it. Not saying that RSBuddy did anything, but be cautious.

I never had a problem with RsBuddy. It's safe just don't save your account info in it if your worried about being hacked.

RSBuddy isn't a virus, neither is PowerBot.
you guys should open it up and look at the contents.

I'm not sure if RSBuddy is open source.. I'm pretty sure it is.. but Powerbot is completely open source.

Ugh.... Aribter DID NOT hack ppl... A person called Gh0st hacked the RS Bot client on his own.

All Clients will update... no client is perfect as long as RS keeps updating. No one has been hacked by RS Buddy... its a very secure and encripted client.

    Rsbuddy is clean.
And something extra - why would u wanna use powerbot ... to get banned / have failed bots... rsbuddy is the shit atm along with the ownage nexus bots.

RID is something good as well but takes control of your desktop ;)

I have to admit, i find it a bit weird that the Rsbuddy updates now jumped from 116-120... any thoughts?

More than likely they've incorporated it so paid scripts can be used. Though I could be wrong, but this will be a future update if it hasn't already happened.

They're most likely using the format 1.1.6, so it updated to a new version (probably some significant change) 1.2.0. Version numbers are almost always decimals, not integers.

No need to cause panic when this isn't even confirmed, much like the Powerbot discussion.

I'm just saying.. to disprove it all you have to do is open the file, deob it, and look at the java files >.>
RSBuddy is obfuscated (I just checked) but PowerBot isn't.

The only thing I got against rsbuddy is the cpu usage. Besides that it's the best a free botting client can get.

    Rsbuddy - Virus?

They updated the Bot "RSBUDDY" and now it includes paid scripts and so on.

Something about a new premium system,

They probably went from 1.16 to 1.20 to make it look like they did 0.04 worths of updates or they just probably want 1.1x to be normal version and 1.2x onwards to be premium versions.

RSBUDDY is SAFE, As of right now.

Every Anti Virus would pop up from time to time, Telling you to scan your PC.. That's what they do.

Just because you didn't update your RSBuddy and Norton pops up afterwards or whatever, doesn't mean it's infected or anything.
Not to mention that you DID scan and nothing came up.. It's SAFE.
