That a load of crap, no wonder why... it's BBC.

The richer get richer, the poorer get poorer, it has no effect on the countries economy as a whole at all.

(I think you mean by banning, not my banning).

Well I just got back from Cancun an found out the bloke at the door only earns like 300 pesos (35usd max) a week.. Taxis were on 600 pesos during spring break which is like 70usd, but thats only for 6 or so weeks during the year.

They could set a few bots up an literally double there weekly income.

It is not in dispute that gold farmers get paid.
What they do is their job.
Their job can provide for their family.
Their job is relatively easy compared to farming etc.

What part of that is bullshit aside from your inability to see the larger picture.

Its easy for him to say its bullshit but pretty much all RS gold is sold for USD? and if 1USD is worth 10 of your country dollars why is it bullshit ? its all about the exchange rates an wat the worth of the USD in certain countrys is equal to.

OK a simple google search came up with a brilliant example :

    Somalia

Currency: Somali shilling (SOS); Somaliland, an independent region not recognized by any country, also issues its own currency called the Somaliland shilling

Inflation rate: Nobody knows. Whatever it is, its not low.

Exchange rate: 1,387.77 SOS per US$1

    referance :http://www.foreignpolicy.com/articles/2007/06/10/the_list_the_worlds_worst_currencies

so here we see 1USD = 1387.77 Somalian dollars. So pretty much if you bot in this country that probably doesnt even have internet you will make more then if you had a normal job due to the exchange rate ?

Did i shine any light on the subject ?

The exchange rate could be $1 = $10000000 in some countries and it still wouldn't make a difference. It's what the money can buy in that country. E.g. In England it would cost 1 pound for a coffee, in New Zealand it would cost $3 for a coffee. In the exchange rate it would work out to be the same price, the same bang for your buck. There's no doubt some people in China etc do make a profit and provide for their families with this cash. But it is not a substantial amount to ruin economies....

And don't forget, by gold farming, this is creating jobs that would not have been there in the first place.

Whatever affect it has is minute. It does however provide a window of opportunity for teenagers etc.. living in poor 3rd world countries. If i lived in Ethiopia and had a computer I would no life rs to make 10 bucks a day. I would probably be making more than my dads salary too.
