What to look for in a pure?

What is the ultimate pure? 40/99/1? Does ranged and magic really matter? Just wanna collect some thoughts on what people think the best pure stats would be. :idea:

 

Ranged and magic don't matter if you have a f2p account. (I would still have 40 range for d hide and 25( I think?) for varrock teleport. If you're already 40/99/1 you probably won't go up any levels for leveling them up too. (You'll only level up HP)

 

Whats the difference if its f2p or p2p?

 

It really depends what you want to do, Also the difference in p2p and f2p is 60 attack dominates lol

 

There are more uses for mage/range in P2P (dark bow, rune c'bows, ancients, veng, etc.)

Well you said 40/99/1 so if you had 40 attack I assumed you were a rune scimmy pure.

 

the 'best' pure stats would obviously just be maxed. p2p A99/S99/D1/R99/M99/H99/P99/S99

 

Well I mean what are people looking for in a pure for staking/pking.

 

Well in members is it worth going to 60 attack and gaining the levels? for staking or pking if you were to buy an account right now would you rather have 40/99/1 or 60/99/1?

 

It all depends on your combat preferences. My pure is 99 range, 99 mage. I don't need attack, strength, or anything else to do well in the wilderness or in the duel arena.

Just stick to one or two combat styles. I always end up owning these triple hybrids.

 

People underestimate the level of range and magic levels you can have without leveling.
See my account, level 63 (nearlly maxed i think)
Range: 90
Magic: 89 (alching atm)
Str: 75
att: 60
pray: 13
hp: 71

Literally no one has better stats than me, but a few with higher or same str (generally 50 att though)

 

Are you talking about the ultimate F2P pure? If so, I'd get 40/99/1 with 90 range to Range/2H, 80 hp, and 1 prayer for a lower cb level. Instead of 99 range, I'd choose 90 so your combat level is less, since you won't be ranging to KO.

 

I'm currently having fun with my 60 attack pure my stats are

Strength: 97
Range: 99
Magic: 95

 

Normally, range would easily be maxed out without cbing (50att, 60 att).
But with 40 attack, Duckysr is actually right (well close enough)
F2p Maxed out for combat levels is actually 93 range.
This is what i would advise for a kickass maxed out (for cb) level 65 f2p pure.

 

u woulod defintely go for 60 atk u wouldnt hit shit with a rune scim aswell if its a mem look for desert treasure done and it must have adamant gloves im guessing uve never been p2p from the looks of it?
