Korasi's Sword is bullshit ruined wilderness

You probably remembered 2007 wilderness as honour pking, where players would use whips and rune armour, maybe a torso and dragon legs. Maybe even a godsword.

My argument here is that,the 2011 wilderness is awful. It is nothing like oldschool. I don't like the fact that i can't pk in rune and a dragon scimitar, maybe a whip, and not get one kill. Infact, i get wrecked by these stupid level 100 prods with turmoil and korasi's sword. Honour pking is long gone, jagex have overpowered shit too far. The AGS was pushing it. So were the claws. But korasi sword? WTF!!!! And the thing that pisses me off the most is that when i call a someone a noob for using korasi, they just call me "Jealous because i don't have it".

Do YOU think that there should be a weapon with a 100% hit rate that WILL hit at least 50-150% of the user's max hit? KOing made to easy. That takes the challenge out of pking, i could easily get korasi and ring of vigour and fuck peeps up.

^Yes and i noticed that korasi sword does not give 2 specs with vigour, but what about energy transfer? Korasi seems to do full damage even in multi now.

Well i'm updating this old dusty thread and bumping it because i can't even pk in POH without getting killed by energy transfer cunts with their little dildo korasi and semen curses. This fucking gay ass shit korasi shit hits through pray, defence, magic level, dhide. The thing that pisses me off so much is that there is absolutely No way to defend against the korasi spec, if you are on 200 or lower health and someone with max str bonus and korasi specs you, you WILL die. Even a chaotic weapon is chanceless against the korasi dildo.

 

To be honest the wepon is total bullshit i have it on my main and its jsut overpowered, i dont use it, but they should Reduce the hits of it, i was in clan wars the otherday and someone hit 710 on me with it.
So yes it needs to be reduced.

Not many people have it - But yeah most pkers DO have it, Cause it helps a damn lot.
So basically you're supposed to keep up with everyone and get one for yourself, or own people without it if you can, but yeah its a crazy KO wep.
Idk about if it should be lowered, just saying what i think.

Your either going to have to get used to these updates and keep up with the new quests an items an PKin gear, yes it is much easier to kill others these days but it is also alot easier to die.

Personally for me i used to DH pk alot an korasi has raped me out many more times then i would like to admit, but then again i have gotten a few cheesy korasi KO's for bankloot myself.. it all evens itself out

 

So do it? If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Runescape has evolved, it may be time that you leave '07 behind, and work on your '11 prod. Obviously people are going to pk so that they have the greatest advantage, and the weapons now, are much better then a standard d scim.

So, when used with Ring of Vigour, one Special Attack uses 60-(60:10) = 54 Percent of the Special Attack bar. Two Special Attacks would spend 108 Percents.


So Vigour doesn't give you 2 Special attacks in one go, but rather lets you do 2 Specs in a short time span.

 

If you don't like korasi swords, don't fight people who use them. Also you can use the protection from magic prayer at all times to prevent their special from hitting.

Only difference between old school and now is that you can hit harder and you have harder hitting weapons. Food is still the same (besides rocktail). So if your whip and dds could ko back then on full rune well they can still do it now
