Do you use a VPN when you RWT?

I'm wondering if using a VPN would help reduce RWT bans? What have you done in your experience and has it worked for you?

 

I wouldn't waste your time / money. I have yet to see anyone been banned so far. I've seen people with mules that have traded over billions and no bans.

I have never even heard of anyone using a VPN for RWTing, I don't even see what difference it would make.

 

So it would be fine to have all the gold on one account?

And the point is that, if your account gets banned, then your IP will probably be flagged and a VPN would bypass this.

 

RWT bans are a myth. Jagex does NOT have a detection system, I have moved BILS between accounts.

Popular GP sellers have sold BILS, without a problem.
There's nothing to be afraid of..

 

I don't think that VPN could help. Just do it by normal way but don't be so obvious.

 

I was banned during year 2005 or 2006 once for buying 60M ..

 

You wont get banned jagex dont care.
And vpn is just more crazy since you keep logging into a account on diffrent ips.

 

If you are transferring between your own accounts maybe. If you just bought an account and want to transfer items to it then a vpn would be the safest way because jagex DO still give out bans for account hijacking

 

Don't worry, I haven't made use of any precautions to sell 2 billion RSGP. It's been 2 months and no action has been taken yet.

I have been IP banned for Real World Trading in the past, which was somewhere in 2007, before they added the trade limits. Back then RWT was killing Jagex: loads of macros, loads of CC fraud, loads of Account Hijacking, etc... Action had to be taken from their side at that point.

 

I personally wouldn't use it unless you are transferring gold from one account to another.

I think this still holds true, the macros , CC frauds and loads of account hijacking is still happening and the bots are more advance now. I believe the situation is worse now then before. LOL

 

No point, you won't get banned for RWT anymore. Haven't heard of a RWT ban in year's.
