    I'm curious, what do you think has been RuneScape's best game update?

    I know many of you will say wildy/free trade return but is there any update that you really liked?

    I loved the update where skillcapes were implemented. The new prayers (curses) are a close second.

    skillcapes deffently gives such more of an incentive to get a 99 and also the one i hated the most was hd lol i preferd the noobish grapich and the old interface old school ftw

    In my opinion Jagex didn't made a lot of good updates besides bringing back wild and free trade. So, wild and free trade is on top. ;)

    How can all of you say that the return of free trade and the wilderness was the best update ever? If Jagex hadn't messed up in the first place by removing it then we wouldn't have a problem.

    My favorite update? Just overall graphical updates make me happy when they improve areas. The HD update was nice, of course.

    I'd say RuneScape was at the prime when it was Whip+DDS (melee), Ancients (mage), and Dbow/Magic Short (range) no crazy ass potions or any of these fucking yaks, etc. Prayers were balanced, nobody had an advantage just because they had 200M to blow or anything. Shit was actually even back then and you didn't have to really worry about dying from pj'ers, they just got annoying.

    So I'd say best update = Slayer + Dbow to even the triangle out. Any ranger knows that when that shit first came out it devastated the wild.
