Gambling is a problem

Fuck does it happens that you gamble so much you feel so down but you just cant stop it. It Scares me cause it happens irl and in Runescape. Thats a huge problem when your spending Irl money to buy Gold then you just waste your time on Gambling in Runescape on stupid Dice/Duel arena game. Its been over 2years that i dont even play runescape for fun but i keep spending money on this game for nothing.

Sometimes i wonder if i shouldnt close my Paypal , Ban all my runescape account and ban myself on sythe. Its becoming a huge problem fuck.

 

Gambling is only problematic when you lose.
In the essence of a staking duel, a 50/50 chance should see you break even. If your losing more than winning it means either your not staking against your own level.

Just exercise some self control. Make your own GP through botting, that way you won't have to spend IRL money and you can still enjoy your habit sensibly.

 

These games are the stupidest thing to happen in RS since triple figure hp.

You're right, it's a huge problem in every aspect, in game, etc.
I'd suggest trying to quit, it'd be best for you.

 

Felt the same, but I didn't buy gold, just borrowed off friends, had around 2-3b debt and cleaned account, then recovered my old one with 500m and made bank off it, buts its REALLY rare to be lucky as I was, I suggest you to quit rs if you can't play it without gambling.

 

Maybe it's just me but I really don't understand how someone can be addicted to RuneScape gambling. It isn't that hard to log off, or to just not play the dice game.

Do you buy gold and then gamble it away, and then buy more and lose it? If so, I would close your PayPal.

If you just lose bets and lose all your GP and don't buy more then I don't really see an issue.

 

To be honest, I actually enjoy the gambling aspect of runescape. I host a x6 flower game and have paid out over 850m in the past three days alone. You win some and you lose some, but it makes for a fun game unfortunately most flower games are a scam, but I have managed to become quite trusted in my homeworld. My biggest pay out on one bet was 44.5m

 

yes i agree with you but just stay away from these places.... and when you go staking or dice bring some money not all your bank and if you loose all well to bad just log out or go do something else

Just stake. You're risking it either way, staking more safer than a 12 year old kid running off.

 

I lost 700M playing the dice game with someone from Sythe. Thankfully I hadn't spent any actual money on that gold, most of it was botted, but I still feel your pain. Try to go into dice gaming or staking with a mindset that you'll only go down to "x" amount and then stop, it really does help.

 

I wouldn't worry about it, it's very unlikely that the gambling in rs will transfer over into real life. It's a lot different, getting in your car, withdrawing money from an atm, walking into a casino with cash in hand and betting it.

Staking isnt the same thing as 07 anyway and im not ready to say its safer its mostly GlitchStake when you stake over 50M

 

gambling is a horrible addiction i was addicted to local fruit machines past 3 years lost well over 5 grand.. seems so pointless your always guna be chasing that high of winning big never gambles rgp though lol

 

Lol I box. I was up 1.7b, down 1.7b then back up to 3.9b. Down to 60m and finally up to 2b. All within 3 days.

By the way im back down to 7m
But the bright side is I started it all with 50m!!!

 

In theory yes, but no your wrong. Even with a 50/50 chance of loosing your still more likly to get cleand.
Why? Because in staking once you loose you tend to re stake more and more till you loose, but once you win a big stake you dont go any bigger. This means that when you get a loose streak you tend to loose much more than you win on win streaks.

 

I'm on the same boat.

Since I came back to the game around a month ago I've already lost over 200M in arena. Every single damn time I manage to come across any decent amount of cash, I stake it all away and then it's back to frost dragons until I have enough cash to get cleaned again. I just can't seem to break the cycle no matter what I do, each time I get cleaned I promise myself to never go there again but the next day I end up breaking this vow and getting cleaned for the 49802nd time.

I'm a compulsive staker and I can't do anything about it.
