Usually download discographys from various torrent sites and used to fill the gap with limewire then frostwire.. Now I just use YouTube an convert them to mp3

Torrenting is pretty much the best way to get music.
I also just google " 'album name' + mediafire " to get .rars of albums too.

Not from trusted uploaders, you can scan them yourself anyway.

I personally always use torrents for downloads, preferably from TPB but if that's down I use Demonoid and previously Katz.cd for album downloads.

 

A few things are wrong with your current statement. Itunes quality of music is hardly anything close to .flac (lossless music). Many tv's shows and movies are not even available to people in different parts of the world due to copyright laws. Plus itunes has had problems with hackers getting into peoples accounts and buying downloads. (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/42381718/ns/technology_and_science-security/).

Thus I've have to disagree that Itunes is the "it's the most legit, safest, and finest quality music, movies, and show's available". Manly because most music is only put on itunes after it's extremely popular and many indie artists don't get heard on there.

My music downloads depends on my location. At university they block all my ports, and have us log in to use the internet so I'm forced to use the following sites:
Filestube (includes rapidshare,megaupload etc)
youtube downloaded converters
and google song name and download after it.

Off campus is another story:
I happen to enjoy a bunch of private torrents sites.
Demonoid is i'm worried about ratio and size

I personally use Frostwire. It's very similar to Limewire, but it didn't get owned by the government and artists claiming "OH WE WANT MONEY NAO!"

 

Torrents mostly here. If looking for one specific song it's easiest to find it from yt and use converter.

After Limewire got destroyed I swited to using a youtube to mp4 converter off the internet. You just have to make sure the channel you get your music off of youtube isn't a crappy channel.

I have both Frostwire and Bit Torrent and I have been a user of Frostwire and Limewire for 4 years, and I have to say Frostwire is the best thing to use for when you are looking for just one song. When you want discographies, you are definitely going to want a torrent.
