Editing vouches?

Are you allowed to edit a vouch from somebody else to change the colour/font/size without actually changing any of the writing?

 

I dont think changing font/colour would be bad, but changing/editing the words is something near fake vouches.

 

Yes, you can change the color font size.

You however may not change to vouch itself.

I do the same thing all the time.

People who use red and green bold and size 7 font with over 9000 !!!'s.
I normally reduce the !'s to 3, and all font to size 3
And until somebody starts saying that removing 30 ! is illegal, I totally think it's okay.

 

As long as you keep the original content of the vouch you're fine.

 

As long as you don't alter what they were actually saying you should be fine. There have been a few instances where someone has left vouches for me on their thread and have just totally butchered my name, and I just corrected it myself.

 

I normally just edit my name or wrong grammar/spelling.

There's no reason for editing font/color, unless the user made HUGE HUGE vouch you don't want...

What matters is the vouch quality of the trade and the vouch itself, not how it looks.

 

I agree with the Black Tux. I'll edit my name if they've spelt it wrong..

 

Yeah, im sure nothign wrong with changing colour etc, but they will know if you edit the paragraph/statement, so yeah. Thats against the rules.

 

I shorten mine sometimes. eg if someone is like:

"Vouch for Kabal!

ps has anyone else been lagging lately ive been blah blah *non related vouch stuff for a paragraph*
