    I have a question.

I really want to play on my RS mail but i have a keylogger. I am fully aware about how to get rid of it (Replace my windows) but i can't at the moment.

Question is, Will a keylogger pick up keys entered by an on screen keyboard?

    I have a question.

Possibly yes, I heard of people using the On screen keyboard and still get keylogged.

    I have a question.

Its better if you just clean your computer first. The computer should have came with a CD with windows or do I reset to factory settings similar to reformatting but all original software remains on pc/laptop

    I have a question.

Most of the new keyloggers, detect mouse clicks aswell, so thats how they get bank pins aswell. So therefore they will get the on-screen keyboard presses aswell. Easy way out might be the Malwarebyte Anti-Malware which was already mentioned above.

    I have a question.

I'll give you a descriptive answer.

There are 2 types of keyloggers:
    Hardware and Software.

Hardware key loggers are rare, and won't record the On Screen Keyboard strokes.
Software key loggers depending on their capability have the potential to.

Personally I think most of the key loggers you'll face are simply script kiddies, very basic.

Suffice to say, yes an advanced key logger still has the ability to screenshot your screen and track your mouse movements resulting in the ability to decrypt what you type. However I said advanced key loggers, for the most part you would only really face basic ones.

Here is a method to tackle keyloggers.

Let's say your password was: 125436
Type in 1236, then click between '12' and '36' and type in '54'. This will confuse the key logger. Then click your mouse elsewhere and type in a random combination of letters, eg. 'abedcf' This will prevent most key loggers from being effective.

TL;DR: Yes advanced software key loggers can decrypt what you click on the on screen keyboard, however the key loggers we'll most likely face are only basic ones.

    I have a question.

Thanks for the advice. Thanks everyone else too. I will indeed get my crippled windows 7 virus ridden computer reformatted. Get my windows replaced and start anew, itll suck to loose my files but my computer was too cluttered with crap anyways.

    I have a question.

Some keyloggers take pictures of the screen, so yes, some of them would log that.

    I have a question.

Some can record on-screen keyboards. I have a friend on MSN who was messing with keyloggers (for personal use) and he was bragging about how it even records the on-screen keyboard.

Plus if it's a RAT, he can see your screen + take pictures freely so the person who infected you could easily see what you're doing/typing.
